Job Description:J OB Summary:- To Run The Show. Ensuring smooth day-today operation at the factory level. The responsibility of the entire factory will be in the hands of the Ops Head. To ensure that the entire team follows systems as set up. To serve as the Company s representative in Meetings and Negotiations and to project the Company s philosophy at all times. To develop Uniforms Unlimited into a professionally run organization, & achieve AUTORUN mode of all operations. Production Management: Setting correct Systems and monitoring them as well in all areas of Production & Procurement, Stores, Dispatch, Sales, Merchandising, Planning, Marketing etc. To establish working systems and setting up Policies and Procedures to maintain consistency at the workplace. These Policies outlines the rules of the Company. Optimizing Production Output in-house and also sourcing & coordinating with Job workers to get maximum work out. Plan & Schedule production in co-ordination with the Sales/ Merchandisers set apart urgent deliveries and control routine deliveries efficiently. To overview the Production schedules and to ensure that deadlines are met and jobs assigned are completed. Also to ensure products are shipped on time and delivered to Clients within the time frame promised. Overview the Finishing Department for smooth flow of garments in the production line. Effective Production Planning. Maintain up-to-date knowledge on company objectives, production strategies and support activities. Plan and monitor material movement in Production cycles to ensure continuous operations. Ensure that team follows security and safety policies. Work closely with the Sr. Merchandiser/Production Manager/Directors to plan and manage production task to improve runtime. Logistics & Budget Management: Ensure that the machinery and equipment used have the ability to produce goods for the client at an acceptable standard. Co-ordinate with the quality assurance personnel to ensure that the smooth functioning of the machines. Prepare the current condition of the logistics and decide on the next course of action. The responsibilities include over viewing departmental budgets. To make sure that expenditures for each department in the organization is within the budget allocated. With the Management s consent to decide on whether to increase or decrease spending in order to maintain profitability. To prepare the budget of expenditures and output of each department. Team Management : Managing the gamut of tasks including manpower planning, recruiting, and motivating the induction and training of Merchandisers, Sales, Quality, and Production. Creating an environment that sustains and encourage high performance motivating teams in optimising their contribution levels through employee incentive programs and contests. Forecasting periodic sales verse shipment targets & driving Marketing & Merchandising initiatives to achieve business goals. Monitoring front-line sales team to achieve the set targets. Conducting competitor analysis by keeping abreast of market trends & competitor moves to achieve market share metrics. Key Account Management Developing relationships with key decision makers in Target organizations for Business development. Identifying and networking with prospective clients generate business from the new and existing accounts and achieving increased sales growth thus catalyzing profitability. Building and maintaining healthy business relations with major clientele, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction by achieving delivery & quality norms. Accountable Organisation : Establish clear Goals for sales , tech / customer service , production Regular Goal reviews , annual Performance review Reporting Monthly submission & discussion of a confidential report to & with Directors. Production Reports, Performance reports etc. AUTHORITIES :- To authorize the expenses like Conveyance, food, traveling, etc. within framework of the memorandum set by Mgmt according to grades. Authority to discipline, counsel, improvise and reprimand subordinates. Issue memos if counseling fails and similarly reward and give recognition for good work and bring it to managements notice. To Hire or Fire any related professional whenever required with due procedure Periodic Appraisals of the Employees. Other Distinctive Portfolios Identify / appoint skilled and reliable Job Workers, and works for production when there is excess production load. Proper co-ordination with job workers, check on their timely deliveries and quality control of goods received from job workers. Check on quality of job workers by Signing-off on the 1st sample & thereafter conduct random quality checks. EXPECTED RESULTS:- Considerable Increase productivity. Streamline the entire systems of the production dept, sales dept and merchandising team. Clearing all the back logs of pending orders. Reducing the Manufacturing cost. Setting up Sampling / URGENT Unit. Detailed cost to company per style of garment. Expand the business development and setting up of new factories.
