Job Description:1.Facilitating Regional ManCom Liasoning with EO team for relevant and required MIS Arranging and anchoring regional mancom Preparing and circulating minutes to regional and central team 2.Statutory audit & Internal audit Co-ordinating with auditors as well as cross-functional teams to ensure proper compliance and upto date MIS Ensure timely and proper closure of audit, in co-ordination with RCFM 3 .Budgeting and actual tracking Budgeting Finance overheads in co-ordination with RCFM Compile budget data and documents for sales budget based on estimated revenues and expenses and previous budget. Monthly tracking of regional overheads (all functions) - budget vs. actuals 4 .Gross Margin improvement Regular tacking of Gross Margin, brand-wise, state-wise, depot-wise, sku-wise, etc. & discussing/ highlighting/taking it up with cross-functional teams 5. Key involvement in projects Spearheading regional projects like, TQM projects Being an active member of long-term strategic projects, like profitability improvement, UCA reduction, etc. 6. Receivables Management Monitor status of receivables and accounts to ensure that payments are upto date Regular tracking of BRS ageing & acting upon more than 7 days SAP unrealised collections Monthly review of Debtors ageing AACO and Bank Guarantee Cheque bouncing Special party payments Scrap sales 7. Pricing Review of flashcards for correctness & approvals Co-ordinating with Sales Admin & IT team for prompt updation in SAP 8.Advertising & Sales promotion and Sales overhead Ensure compliance to stated policies & procedures to sales related expenses 8 Trade load, UCA, RPD, QPS and all other A& SP expenses & its effectiveness STOH, PSM salary/ expense, etc. Highlighting abnormal trends in sales expenses, reviewing exceptions, including tracking scheme wise expenses and allocation of funds to various schemes Review sales overhead and other expenses, based on estimates, budgets and actual and highlight to RSM/RCFM Interpret and analyse sales returns/ UCA/ discounts and other credits and take up with cross-functional teams to reduce cost/ drive the effectiveness. 9.Liasoning with banks Monitor remittance of funds and liasoning with banks to reduce float in the system and thus ensure better working capital management 10.Spearheading new initiatives Implementation of new systems, like RTGS collection, online processing, cheque centralisation, etc. Preparing & circulating SOPs for Accounts and Commercial Manual Take lead and support online claim processing system and validate control/ improvements for future process changes 11.Competition update Seek and continuously develop knowledge and information about sales activity, competition and pricing strategies Market share, Numeric distribution, etc. 12.AW management Ensuring AW agreements are completed and documented properly Collecting NDCs & account balance confirmation, and ensure complete settlements Full & final settlement of AWs 13.Single window responsibility for Sales team Communicate and provide information by relevant methods internally and externally to enable sales operations in the region and ensure effective service to sales team 14.Finished Goods / Depot management Finished goods valuation Tracking & reviewing stock-age with cross-functional teams, Sales and Replenishment, to ensure timely liquidation & minimum write-off Regular tracking and circulation of stock freshness at depot-level Block stock management Active role in depot audits and regular physical stock count 15.Transit damage / transit shortage Ensure timely recovery of transit damage and transit shortage from the transporters Maintaining & circulating MIS
