Origin Consultants Pvt Ltdis a Retained Executive Search Services Company has been retained by a Civil Construction, Project Management & Construction Management Company to identify Chief Engineer - Warehouse Construction for the construction of Agriculture Warehouses / Agricultural Warehouses (Dry Storage, Cold Storage, and Frozen Storage Facilities) to be based at Bhopal.

The Chief Engineer - Warehouse Construction is a Senior Management Position reporting to the Directors

As Chief Engineer - Warehouse Construction, Agri Warehousing for the construction of Agriculture Warehouses / Agricultural Warehouses (Dry Storage, Cold Storage, and Frozen Storage Facilities) you will be responsible for the following:

~ Lead the execution of Agriculture Warehouses / Agricultural Warehouses (Dry Storage, Cold Storage, and Frozen Storage Facilities for grains, vegetables, fruits etc) across various locations

~ Set up & Manage the agri warehouse / Agriculture Warehouses / Agricultural Warehouses project execution team end-to-end and ensure that the team is focused on complying with Safety, Quality, Design, Schedule, Cost and Environmental Aspects of various projects.

~ Give inputs to design in order to optimize on project quality, cost & time 

~ Ownership of construction cost, schedule, safety & quality results

~ Set up systems and heading operations for strong project management in all these execution projects

~ Review contract specification and study of commercial terms and condition of contract necessary for executing the project

~ Advise top management on best construction practices & design of projects

~ Coordinate with the client for the completion of project at each & every aspect of the contract.

~ Monitor & mitigate various risks to ensure execution of the project with defined time, quality standards & cost controls as per set schedule.

~ Make regular analysis of factors detrimental to timely project completion and ensuring proper project planning for the same

~ Liaise with relevant external agencies to ensure smooth progress of projects and maintain contacts and correspondence with vendors, contractors, Government authorities, etc as per projects requirements 

~ Prepare and submit regular reports to the top management regarding the project

~ Responsible for all matters related to the Projects and other activities as may be assigned from time to time.

Essential Requirement

~ 10 - 15 years experience in conceptualizing & constructing agri warehouses / Agriculture Warehouses / Agricultural Warehouses for various storage applications.

~ Proficiency in construction of agri warehouses / Agriculture Warehouses / Agricultural Warehouses and experience in executing cold storage facilities construction

~ Strong civil & structural knowledge

~ Familiar with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) aspects of Construction

~ Knowledge of various construction techniques & materials

~ Strong at managing a big construction execution team

~ Proficiency in cost and schedule management

~ Knowledge of frozen storage and cold-storage technology, especially on execution front

~ Warehousing management systems experience a plus

~ Good Project Management & People Management Skill

~ Current with Industry Benchmarks & Trends

~ Willing to travel within India
