Job Description:1.Procure Packaging materials,(cartons,shippers, bottles pet& HDPE,aluminum tubes& foils, PVC foils, labels & leaflets etc.), promotional, third party and new product materials. 2.Negotiate with approved suppliers for most competitive price, availability & quality. 3.Locate and study new potential alternate suppliers for existing products to get a better competitive price,quality and service. 4.Costing of packaging/promotional materials with respect to input cost of cartons,shippers,PVC,ALU foils/tubes/printed promotional materials etc. 5.Ensure all new product development requirements like samples/documents/ quotations/stability data etc are delivered as per agreed timelines. 6.Ensure cost reduction targets are achieved during the year. 7.Develop and maintain close working relationship with vendors to generate effective material substitution strategies and gather market intelligence. 8.Manage procurement staff, internal customers & suppliers in a coherent and effective manner.

Desired Candidate ProfileCandidates should have excellent commercial,communication and negotiation skills. Candidates from pharma industry may apply. PG Diploma in Packaging Technology will be an added advantage Exposure to ERP package like SAP/ORACLE will be added advantage

Experience Required: 10 to 15

Education Required: (UG - B.Sc - Any Specialization, B.Com - Commerce, B.Pharma - Pharmacy, B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization) OR (PG - Any PG Course - Any Specialization, MBA/PGDM - Any Specialization)
