Job Description:1. Management of a team of pathologists and histo-technicians. 2. Monitoring of outsourced pathology work and can peer review histopathology slides 3. Design, conduct and monitoring of preclinical toxicity studies as study pathologist 4. Preparation and peer review pathology reports for GLP compliance as per OECD, EPA, ICH, ISO, Schedule-Y guidelines 5. Defending pathology data in regulatory meetings 6. Implementation of new procedures and special staining techniques required in Histopathological studies 7. To conduct veterinary and clinical examination of animals during the course of the experiment as a Study Veterinarian. 8. Preparation of GLP documents i.e. SOPs, formats etc. 9. Coordinate with GLP consultant 10. Provide GLP training in pathology to members of the team 11. Establishing all required formalities for GLP accreditation 12. Facilitate collaboration with academic centers and pathology consultants as necessary to complete investigative studies

Desired Candidate ProfileQualification: M.V. Sc./ Ph.D in Pathology Desirable: DABT Experience: More then 12 years of experience in Toxicologic Pathology 1. Extensive understanding on the toxicologic pathology and have handled NCEs from different therapeutic areas such as oncology, inflammation and metabolic disorder 2. Well versed with latest histological and immuno-histochemical techniques. 3. Knowledge of morphometry applications 4. High degree of professionalism, scientific rigour and understanding with consistent attention to details and results 5. Highly motivated team player with well-developed communication and organizational skills 6. Ability to work cross-functionally and to interact with other departments 7. Strong scientific writing, data compilation and analytical skills 8. Ability to handle multiple assignment and meet deadlines

Education Required: (UG - BVSC - Veterinary Science) AND (PG - MVSC)
