Job Description:Automation Engineer: Position: Automation Engineer Job Location: Bangalore. Job Description: Aryaka worlds first cloud-based WAN optimization is seeking for an experienced programmer with a background in network operations to join a team of systems and network engineers. The ideal candidate is a meticulous engineer and problem solver who is comfortable blurring the lines between software development and traditional IT. They should be at ease multitasking and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Responsibilities Work hand-in-hand with operations groups and other software developers. Proactively build automation and availability/performance monitoring software in Linux environments. Research, implement, and customize open source operations tools. Help architect and administer a high-performance, highly redundant global networks built out of Cisco, Juniper and other custom purpose built devices. Requirements: 5+ years of demonstrable experience with an applicable language Python or other similar scripting technologies. Scripting experience: Python, TCL Expect in a Linux/UNIX environment Knowledge in developing java based applications is a plus Programming experience with shell scripts, PERL, XML, PHP Exposure to Linux development environment, SVN/CVS/Clearcase and RPM is a must. Experience in Open source tools such as OpenNMS, Nagios, nmap,nessus, Cacti is a must Knowledge on C/C++ programming will be an added advantage Strong problem-solving skills Qualification: B.E/B-Tech Compensation: Base salary plus target incentives Stock options.
