Job Description:Role and purpose To lead and manage Financial Accounting and Reporting activities for the organization and ensure compliance in all the aspects pertaining to financial accounting in close coordination with Project Team. Responsibilities Be the face and the single point contact for Finance at the Ahmedabad branch with overall responsibility to ensure total compliances in respect of accounting standards (including new Ind AS), corporate law, cost audit rules, disclosure requirements while finalizing accounts and monthly financial closure and reporting Full responsibility of monthly accounting entries and closure and monthly financial analysis Preparation of Annual Business Plan (ABP). Budgeting and forecasting. Responsible for entire Accounts Receivable and setting up governance process of AR and developing a robust reconciliation process as per contractual agreements. Handling Internal Audit, External Audit, Tax Audit, Transfer Pricing audit for the branch. Sound knowledge of direct taxes, transfer pricing, audit requirements and preparation of tax return. Sound knowledge of indirect taxes (ST, VAT) particularly for project based business with experience in handling BPO clients. Liaise with corporate treasury team of TML for funding requirements and investment opportunities MIS related to financial reporting including monthly reports required by the customers. Work closely with IT Shared Services to ensure appropriate system & amp amp processes up gradation for on time and reliable information, review internal controls and systems and to implement appropriate policies Interaction with Customers along and own the detailed reconciliation process as per contract Liaoning and coordination with both the Group Accounting Team and Governance Team at Mumbai to take care of accounting and reporting requirements. Preparation and maintenance of Fixed assets registers as per statutory requirement & acirc & euro & fnof External interface and its purpose: oInterfacing with external Auditors, oVendors, oBankers, oConsultants, ocustomers Internal interface and its purpose: oInternal auditors ofunctional heads oGovernance team in Mumbai oTML Accounting Team oTML Treasury Team oother internal stakeholders Critical Competencies for the job: 1. Ability to lead a lead, mentor and train team of professionals 2. In depth knowledge of Indian GAAP and working knowledge on Indian Accounting Standards. Sound understanding of project accounting is must. Knowledge in BPO industry will be preferred 3. Exposure to ERP System particularly to financial module and business intelligence. Exposure to People Soft is an added advantage. 4. Excellent ability to communicate and work with functional heads and divisional in-charge to implement system and processes. & acirc & euro & fnof
